Schoodic Ride Stops and Parking
There are numerous scenic spots to explore on the Schoodic Ride.
The maps below show some especially scenic spots that reward
riders that get off their bikes and take a few minutes to look
around.

(map 2) is a map of the Schoodic Peninsula. Below Winter Harbor the
road is one way with great views of Mt. Desert Island.

below shows our first stop at Frazer Point. There are bathrooms,
picnic tables, and a nice view.

Map 4 below shows scenic
Schoodic Point. This special spot offers a 270 degree ocean view with
a great rocky shore. This spot is especially nice when the surf is up.
There is plenty of parking and there are restrooms.

Map 5 below shows historic
Cherryfield. There are historic buildings lining both shores of the
Narraguagus River. Cherryfield is also the beginning of the Blackwoods
Scenic Byway which this ride follows after Cherryfield.
