Board Meeting

1. Board meetings will be held on 1st Friday of every month. No phone calls will be made to members unless there is a change of plans. Meetings are at 11:30am at Mitzie's office.

2. Joann should compose a letter to Bobby Jindal asking him to consider taking the position of Republican Party Chairman for the state of La. Bring this letter to the December meeting and we will have the membership sign it. We think he would be great at uniting the party and leading us forward.

3. We will meet on Friday, Dec. 12th, 11:30am at Mitzie's office to wrap pins to distribute to the members and guest at our December meeting/Christmas party. Sarah will provide fabric for wrapping. Tara will call Jaci to make sure pins will be available on Friday.

4. Earline will check on getting a Santa suit for the party. Ernie Alexander has agreed to be Santa. He will also read the Biblical Christmas story.

5. Pat will call Ron Gomez to read "The Cajun Night Before Christmas."

6. Earline will purchase poinsettias to be awarded as door prizes.

7. Sarah will make invitations to the Christmas party to be included in the newsletters.

8. Order of program for meeting:

1) Lunch

2) Cajun Night Before Christmas read

3) Santa will enter and pass out gifts. He will then remove his beard and read the True meaning of Christmas.

9. Jaci and Tara will have a table set up for members to purchase mouse pads, pins, flags, etc.

10. Dues for 2004 will be $30 and we will begin collecting them at the January meeting.

11. Trula will say the prayer at our December meeting.

The meeting was adjourned.
